Award-Winning Instruction Throughout Your Career

The Outer Banks School of Real Estate offers coursework for every level of your real estate career. Director/Instructor, Betsy Whitcraft, offers award-winning teaching of the Pre-Licensing course needed to obtain Provisional Broker status. She is recognized for her students' 88% first-time pass rate on the North Carolina state exam.

The school also offers all three Post-Licensing Courses required after passing the state exam, as well as Continuing Education Courses mandated by the state of North Carolina, including BICAR, the BIC Annual Update. Private tutoring and satellite instruction for individuals, companies and groups is also available statewide through the Outer Banks School of Real Estate.

Pre-Licensing
An 85-hour course designed to prepare students for the North Carolina Real Estate exam. Students who pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher will receive a Provisional Broker License. Learn more about Pre-Licensing offered by the Outer Banks School of Real Estate.


Post-Licensing30-hour broker post-licensing courses taught through the Outer Banks School of Real Estate
Consists of three 30-hour courses required to obtain full broker status in the state of North Carolina. All three classes must be completed within three years after passing the NCREC exam. Learn more about broker Post-Licensing Courses offered by the Outer Banks School of Real Estate.


Continuing Education (CE)
The NCREC requires brokers to complete Continuing NC real estate brokers can complete their continuing education credits. Education courses in order to maintain their real estate license.
