About the Outer Banks School of Real Estate
The Outer Banks School of Real Estate is a North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) sponsored and approved school that offers all licensing classes and continuing education required to earn and maintain a Broker’s Real Estate License in the state of North Carolina. Students at all levels of licensing are welcome. The Outer Banks School of Real Estate is proud to provide relevant course content through high quality instruction. 
The Outer Banks School of Real Estate was established by Sun Realty, the largest real estate sales and vacation rentals company on the Outer Banks. Sun Realty has shown a commitment to excellence and professional development for over three decades. Establishing a School of Real Estate was a natural next step for this well-respected company.

Courses at the Outer Banks School of Real Estate are taught by Betsy hitcraft. Betsy also directs the school. Her instruction includes over 14 years of experience in Outer Banks real estate, from property management to sales, to course-writing for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Betsy is dedicated to the success of her students. She was presented with the 2010-2011 Program of the Year Award from the North Carolina Real Estate Educator's Association, and was honored in 2010 by the NCREC for her students' outstanding first time pass rate on the real estate exam.
The Outer Banks School of Real Estate offers flexible schedule options, a comfortable, well-lit classroom, and the full spectrum of courses required for real estate in the state of North Carolina. Tutoring is available for current students who need extra help while preparing for the North Carolina license exam. Private tutoring is also available for non-students. Courses and materials are constantly updated to provide students with fresh, relevant information.

Outer Banks School of Real Estate students come from all walks of life. Lawyers, architects, high school graduates, teachers and retirees have all successfully earned their North Carolina Provisional Broker's License after completing the Pre-Licensing Course.
