What We Can Do For You

The Outer Banks School of Real Estate is a North Carolina Real Estate Commision approved school and sponsor offering all broker classes and continuing education.

Guarantee

I will guarantee that if you do not pass the prelicensing Broker course the first time, you may take it a second time, within a year, for free. I can't guarantee that you will be able to pass the course and state exam because it depends entirely upon you, the time you invest, the skills you bring and the focus. This is not an easy course. In fact, I know college graduates who've found this the hardest course they have ever taken. I also know high school GED's who've passed. When you do pass, you will have EARNED it! It will give you a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

When you pass the state exam, you will receive your Provisional Broker license. Every year thereafter, you must take 8 hours of Continuing Education to keep your license active. In addition to the Continuing Education, you will be required to take at least one of three Broker Postlicensing courses (#301, #302 and #303)every year to keep your license active and to "perfect" it by becoming a full Broker. When you have completed the three Broker Postlicensing Courses (you may actually do this in a single year, but the requirement is a minimum of one per year) you will have earned your Broker license and you will no longer be on provisional status. These are the North Carolina Real Estate Commission requirements for licensure.

The Outer Banks School of Real Estate offers all of the Broker Prelicensing, Post licensing and Continuing Education courses.

Sincerely,
Betsy Whitcraft
